Passengers travelling with EVA Air from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on EVA Air flights may bring the following cabin baggage allowance:

• Economy / Premium Economy Class: 1 cabin bag up to 7 kg (15 lbs).
• Royal Laurel / Premium Laurel / Business Class: 2 cabin bags, each up to 7 kg (15 lbs).

Each cabin bag must not exceed 23 cm × 36 cm × 56 cm, with total linear dimensions not exceeding 115 cm, including handles and wheels. The baggage must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of the passenger.

Cabin baggage is subject to airport security screening procedures at KLIA. Items exceeding the permitted weight or size limits must be checked as hold baggage.

Checked Baggage Policy

EVA Air's checked baggage allowance is based on the passenger's fare type, cabin class and travel route. For flights between Kuala Lumpur and Taipei, the applicable allowance is shown on the passenger's ticket.

• Economy Class: Up to 2 pieces, each weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs), depending on the purchased fare.
• Premium Economy Class: 2 pieces, each weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Royal Laurel / Premium Laurel / Business Class: 2 pieces, each weighing up to 32 kg (70 lbs).

Each checked baggage piece must not exceed 158 cm (62 inches) in total linear dimensions (length + width + height), including handles and wheels. A single checked bag exceeding 32 kg must be repacked or transported as cargo.

Passengers should confirm the baggage allowance stated on their ticket before arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Extra Baggage

Passengers may purchase additional baggage allowance through EVA Air before departure. Extra baggage fees apply when the total number of pieces, weight or dimensions exceed the permitted allowance.

Sports equipment and special baggage may be accepted as checked baggage when properly packed and within EVA Air's requirements. Certain items require advance notification or approval before travel and may incur additional charges.
