EVA Air Lost and Found at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)

If you have misplaced an item during your EVA Air flight or within Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), the appropriate reporting procedure depends on where the item was lost. Follow the sections below to report and recover your belongings.

Items Left on Board the Aircraft

Items left onboard EVA Air aircraft should be reported to EVA Air or the airline’s appointed ground handling representative at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Passengers should provide their flight number, travel date, seat number and a detailed description of the missing item to support the search and recovery process.

Items Lost at the Airport

Items misplaced in public areas of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), including check-in areas, security screening zones, immigration areas, departure halls and arrival facilities, are managed by Malaysia Airports’ Lost and Found service. Passengers should submit a lost item report with relevant details, including the location, date and description of the item.

Baggage-Related Lost Property

Passengers who do not receive their checked baggage upon arrival on an EVA Air flight should report the missing baggage immediately at the baggage service counter in the arrival hall before leaving the airport. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) will be issued to begin the baggage tracing process.

Reporting a Lost Item

When reporting an item lost onboard an EVA Air flight, passengers should provide their flight details, seat information and a clear description of the missing item. For delayed or missing checked baggage, passengers must provide the baggage claim tag and travel documents to assist with baggage identification and tracking.

Recovery and Collection

Once a lost item is found, passengers may collect the item according to the collection instructions provided by EVA Air, the ground handling representative or KLIA Lost and Found service. Collection by an authorised representative may be permitted with appropriate identification and written authorisation.

Passenger Advice

Passengers should report missing checked baggage before leaving the arrival area at KLIA. Early reporting allows the baggage tracing process to begin promptly and enables the airline to provide updates regarding the status of the missing baggage.
