Desa Waterpark
The Desa Waterpark is a fun-filled place which is frequented by families on
the weekends. Due to the road network, the Desa Waterpark is easily accessible
from most parts of Kuala Lumpur. It is guaranteed to offer unlimited family
entertainment and is also a perfect place for organizing family gatherings and
get-togethers.
There are many attractions at the Waterpark. The attractions include the Thunder
Bolt, Tarzan in Town, Water Factory, Action River, Surf Shack, Clown-A-Round,
Pink Slide, Shock Wave and so on.
Among the attractions here, the Thunder Bolt is the most favorable as it has the
most patrons lining up for the ride.
This is because the Thunder Bolt is the longest and the first gravity-defying
water coaster in Asia. Another famous attraction is the Tarzan In Town which is
a water based activity where you can have fun jumping from one tube to another.
The Desa Waterpark is quite near to the famous Midvalley Megamall. The Megamall
is where you can shop till you drop. Hundreds and thousands of shops occupy the
huge megamall. You can shop from a myriads of brand, even designer brands at the
Gardens of Midvalley Megamall.
Getting There
The Desa Waterpark is one of the largest amusement parks in Malaysia which is
located between Taman Desa and Klang Lama. The best way to reach the waterpark
is either by taxi or by driving here.
Kuala Lumpur is served by Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The Airport
located around 50 km from the Kuala Lumpur city center. Besides buses and taxis,
the Express Rail Link is the latest means of transportation to KLIA from the
city centre. The KLIA Express and the KLIA Transit links KLIA to Kuala Lumpur (KL
Sentral - City Air Terminal) and vice-versa.
There are more than 50 airlines operating in KLIA (including charters and
seasonal). To name but a few are Air China, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines,
Emirates, Garuda Indonesia, Gulf Air, Lufthansa, Japan Airlines, KLM, Malaysia
Airlines, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines and Thai Airways International.
