Terengganu
Terengganu is endowed with a wealth of superb natural landscapes. It is

Lake Kenyir.
The Lake Kenyir is an
artificial lake which is situated in Terengganu. The lake was created back
in 1985 due to the damming of the Kenyir River when building the Sultan
Mahmud Power Station. The
Lake Kenyir is the largest man-made lake in the
world. The lake is also the place to access to the Taman Negara. The main
attractions at the
Lake Kenyir would be the eco-tourism carried out here.
Popular activities here are jungle trekking, fishing, kayaking, boating,
rafting and shooting rapids.
Another famous island in Terengganu is the
Perhentian Islands. There are two
main islands which make up the Perhentian Islands. They are the Perhentian
Besar and Perhentian Kecil. This is a great place to enjoy the view, and do
some snorkeling. Deep sea diving can also be done here at the
Perhentian Islands. There are several resorts to choose from when staying at the
Perhentian Islands.
