Carry-on Baggage

Passengers departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on Cathay Pacific flights may bring the following cabin baggage allowance:

• Economy Class and Premium Economy Class: 1 cabin bag up to 7 kg (15 lbs).
• Business Class: 1 cabin bag up to 10 kg (22 lbs).
• First Class: 1 cabin bag up to 15 kg (33 lbs).

Each cabin bag must not exceed 56 cm × 36 cm × 23 cm, including wheels, handles and side pockets. The baggage must fit securely in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of the passenger.

All carry-on baggage is subject to security screening procedures at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Bags exceeding the permitted weight or size limits must be checked into the aircraft hold.

Checked Baggage Policy

Cathay Pacific checked baggage allowance for flights departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is based on the passenger’s travel class and fare conditions:

• Economy Class: 1 or 2 pieces, each up to 23 kg (50 lbs), depending on the fare type and route.
