China Airlines operates flights from Terminal 1, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

Online / Mobile Check-in

China Airlines online check-in is available from 48 hours to 60 minutes before departure for eligible flights.

Passengers can complete check-in through the China Airlines website or mobile services, confirm flight details, select available seats and receive their boarding pass before arriving at KLIA. Passengers with checked baggage must proceed to the airport counter for baggage drop-off.

Auto Check-in

China Airlines Auto Check-in service is available for eligible passengers departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

Passengers can register for Auto Check-in through the China Airlines website from 360 days to 48 hours before departure. The system will complete the check-in process 48 hours before the scheduled flight departure time and send the boarding pass through the selected contact method.

Passengers with miles upgrade requests may not be eligible for Auto Check-in and should complete check-in through the available China Airlines check-in channels.

Self-Service Kiosks

China Airlines self-service check-in kiosks are available at KLIA Terminal 1 for eligible passengers. Kiosk check-in is available from 4 hours to 90 minutes before departure.

Airport Counter Check-in

China Airlines check-in counters at KLIA Terminal 1 open 3 hours before departure and close 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Passengers travelling with checked baggage or requiring travel document verification must complete check-in at the airport counter before the closing time.
