China Airlines, CI series flights at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)

China Airlines is the flag carrier of Taiwan (R.O.C.), headquartered at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport in Taoyuan City. As of June 2026, the airline operates passenger and cargo services to destinations across Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania with a fleet of 82 aircraft.

China Airlines launched scheduled passenger services between Taipei (Taoyuan) and Kuala Lumpur on 14 September 1990. The airline currently operates daily non-stop flights between Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), using the Airbus A330-300 with a flight time of approximately 4 hours and 40 minutes.
