China Eastern Airlines Baggage Policy

Passengers travelling with China Eastern Airlines from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Each passenger departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) may bring the following cabin baggage on China Eastern Airlines flights:

• Economy / Premium Economy Class: 1 cabin bag up to 8 kg (17.6 lbs).
• Business / Premium Business Class: 2 cabin bags, each up to 8 kg (17.6 lbs).
• First Class: 2 cabin bags, each up to 10 kg (22 lbs).

Each cabin bag must not exceed 55 cm × 40 cm × 20 cm and must be stored in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of the passenger. Passengers may also carry one additional personal item, such as a handbag, briefcase, laptop bag, or camera bag, provided it can be placed under the seat.

Carry-on baggage is subject to security inspection at KLIA. Items exceeding the permitted weight, quantity, or size limits must be checked into the aircraft hold.

Checked Baggage Policy

Checked baggage allowance for China Eastern Airlines flights departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is based on the destination, travel class, and ticket conditions.

For routes within the Southeast Asia region, including Malaysia, the free checked baggage allowance is as follows:

• Economy Class: 0 to 1 piece up to 23 kg (50 lbs), depending on the fare type.
• Premium Economy Class: 2 pieces, each up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Business / First Class: 2 pieces, each up to 32 kg (70 lbs).

Each checked bag must not exceed 158 cm (62 inches) in total linear dimensions (length + width + height). The maximum weight allowed for any single checked bag is 32 kg. Baggage exceeding the weight or size limits may require separate cargo transportation.
