Passengers travelling with flydubai from Penang International Airport (PIA) are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers travelling on flydubai may bring one piece of cabin baggage according to their fare type.

• Economy Class: 1 cabin bag weighing up to 7 kg.
• Business Class: 2 cabin bags with a combined maximum weight of 14 kg.

Each cabin bag must not exceed 55 cm × 38 cm × 20 cm, including handles, pockets and wheels. Personal items permitted under the seat include a handbag, laptop bag or small backpack. Cabin baggage exceeding the permitted size or weight must be checked in before departure.

Checked Baggage Policy

flydubai's checked baggage allowance is based on the fare purchased.

• Economy Lite: No complimentary checked baggage.
• Economy Value: Up to 20 kg.
• Economy Flex: Up to 30 kg.
• Business Class: Up to 40 kg.

Passengers may check in multiple bags provided the total weight does not exceed the purchased allowance. Each checked bag must not exceed 32 kg or 159 cm in total dimensions (height + width + depth). Bags exceeding these limits are not accepted as checked baggage.

Passengers should confirm the baggage allowance shown on their booking confirmation or e-ticket before travelling.

Extra Baggage

Additional checked baggage can be purchased before departure or at the airport, subject to availability. Lower rates apply when baggage is purchased in advance.

Excess baggage charges apply when the checked baggage exceeds the purchased allowance. Sports equipment, musical instruments and other special baggage are accepted subject to flydubai's baggage conditions and applicable charges.
